Considering this fact and to provide collectors, traders, manufactures and consumers, a platform for networking and marketing on a long-term sustainable basis, M.P.M.F.P. State (Trading and Development) Co-operative Federation Limited, Bhopal has been organizing National Level Herbal Fair with resounding success for the last three consecutive years with increasing participation from different organisations and individuals.

ORGANIZERS

Madhya Pradesh State Minor Forest Produce (Trading & Development) Co-operative Federation Limited is the Nodal agency of the State seeing to the development and trade of MFPs, including medicinal plants.. The federation has been trying to support the medicinal and herbal sector through initiatives in conservation, processing and value-addition. It has taken up several projects / programmes for conservation and development of medicinal plants and NTFP. Workshops and seminars of various stakeholders at all levels have been held and buyers-sellers meets have been organized to facilitate the trade.
